Music\nis my passion and has been an ever-present joy since childhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\nis fascinating to experience music in all its moods and styles and I\nlove sharing that fascination with others, whether I am conducting a\nchoir, singing, teaching an instrument or composing. I hope that\npeople are as excited by it as I am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout\nmy mix-and-match career, teaching and playing music has been a foil\nto the other aspects of my life as a social worker and counsellor,\nkeeping me balanced and restoring my sanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Based\nin North Norfolk I draw inspiration when I am composing from the\ncountryside, woodland, sea and skies and love to write descriptive\npieces which range from an orchestral depiction of a meteor shower to\nteaching and repertoire pieces for flute and piano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Leaving\nsocial work behind, I went back to study (what a joy) for a Master\u2019s\nDegree in Music Composition. I look forward now to more composing and\nto my conducting responsibilities with 3 choirs and a return to\nteaching flute and piano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
